GIRL SCOUT GOLD AWARD
Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors: Do you want to make a difference in your community? Do you have ideas on how to fix problems in your neighborhood? Do you want to leave a legacy of change that lasts long after you’ve left high school? You can do all of this by earning your Girl Scout Gold Award. Only 5.4% of Girl Scouts nationwide achieve this incredible honor, so take the challenge to join other incredible young women in pursing the Gold Award.
When you “Go for Gold,” you can:
• Develop leadership skills in areas such as public speaking, managing a team, creating and following a plan and promoting your ideas.
• Make a positive, lasting change in your community.
• Apply for exclusive college scholarships only open to Girl Scout Gold Award recipients.
• Enter the military at a higher rank once you’ve earned your Girl Scout Gold Award.

GIRL SCOUT SILVER AWARD
Going for the Girl Scout Silver Award – the highest award a Girl Scout Cadette can earn – gives girls the chance to grow as leaders while improving their communities.
During their leadership adventure girls will:
• Complete a Cadette Journey including earning the journey awards and completing a journey related Take Action project.
• Work as an individual and in small, girl-
• Take action on a community issue.
• Get help and guidance from a troop/group volunteer or subject expert in the community.
GIRL SCOUT BRONZE AWARD
The Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. Girls must be registered Girl Scout Juniors and in grades 4 or 5. During this leadership adventure, girls will complete a Junior Journey and earn corresponding awards, work in teams to select and take action on a community issue of interest to the troop or group and receive help and guidance from adult volunteers. Recipients receive award certificates and letters by mail throughout the year. Troop leaders or parents purchase Bronze Award pins.
